The Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) is the department that serves Los Angeles County residents and provides a range of services, including scheduling a VITA appointment, applying for  CalWorks, CalFresh, Medi-Cal, and case management. The LA County DPSS Mobile App offers residents access to services through a convenient, secure, and easy-to-use interface.

In addition, the LA County DPSS Mobile App provides law enforcement with an automated, secure way to submit proof of changes in a person’s address, phone number, or other personal information reported on the SAR-7 or QR-7.
