DownloadPronounce is a Chrome add-on developed by gray_chen that allows users to download audio pronunciations of words from online dictionaries. This add-on is particularly useful for individuals who are learning new vocabulary and taking notes using other software like Anki, Notion, or Obsidian.

Once installed, users can easily enable DownloadPronounce in the extensions management options. When visiting a supported dictionary website, users will see copy and download icons near the pronunciation symbols. Clicking on the copy icon allows users to copy the audio file link, while clicking on the download icon automatically opens the download window.

Additionally, users can access their recently queried words and open corresponding word pages by clicking on the extension icon. Please note that currently, DownloadPronounce only supports a limited number of websites, which can be found in the source code repository on GitHub. However, the developer welcomes contributions to add support for more websites or even create a new extension based on this tool. Simply leave a message to let them know. Happy learning!
