Doodle Kids is a painting program designed by Thye Chean Lim when he was just 9 years old. This app is specially created for his sisters and all the kids around the world. Available on iPhone, Doodle Kids allows children to unleash their creativity by drawing random shapes in various colors and sizes.

The app offers an easy-to-use interface where kids can tap with two fingers to clear the screen in a random color. Additionally, shaking the device brings up a menu that allows users to clear the screen, select a picture from the photo library, or take a picture using the camera as the background. To save their artwork, children can simply do a screen capture by holding down the Home and Power buttons simultaneously.

Originally developed for the Apple IIGS computer, Doodle Kids has been ported to iPhone with the original Super Hires color palette. It has gained popularity among parents and young children due to its simplicity and fun features.

Doodle Kids also has a successor called Doodle Magic, which offers additional features like saving, emailing, and printing pictures, color and shape cycling, and more beautiful shapes for an even more enjoyable experience.
