Additionally, you can ban specific cards that you don't enjoy playing with, such as Pearl Diver or Rats. If another player joins your game, you can check the Game Setup for the necessary Curses and Victory cards. And if the Young Witch card is present, the bane card is automatically selected.

For example, if you're starting in a Dark Age or there is more Prosperity instead, a message will appear recommending the use of Colonies, Platinum, or Shelters.
