A hack-and-slash RPG with hours and hours of exploration fun
Created in 2012, Divinity 2: Developer's Cut is a single-player adventure game where you use your magic and fighting power to burn your enemies and complete your quest. The developer’s cut has hundreds of extras, including the ability to collect items during battles to build your own Golem. The game feels like an older role-playing game that has been updated and dragged into the present. It is truly a fantastic game for all RPG lovers.
Play the original game and the developers cut
The developers claim that Divinity 2: Developer's Cut has over 100 hours of game play--and they were not lying. If you commit to building up your character, you can spend weeks playing this game to its fullest. Play the original version of the game, or play the developer’s cut to see hundreds of big and small extras. You may even play the game from a completely new perspective. You can set the game to play with very high HD settings. If you have a high-end computer, it is worth trying the game with the graphics settings on high to see the amazing artwork and effort that the developers put into the game. Even the colors of floor tiles have a sensual artistic mix and a magical hue. The rocks each have their own independently drawn jags, shading and grain. The effort put into the patterns on NPC players armor is amazing.
Check to see if it will run first
You can play Divinity 2: Developer's Cut without a high-end computer, but you will need a fairly new computer that has backward compatibility with Windows 7. If you use a high-end computer, then you can set the game to play in full HD, and it looks amazing when it is played in full HD. Exploring is heavily rewarded with items, experience and humor. If you like exploring and leaving no stone unturned, then this game will shake you by the hand and reward you repeatedly.
Pros
- The highest graphic settings will rival any modern game
- It has over 100 hours of game play
Cons
- If you level your stats without thinking the fights turn into a click fest
