Dish of the Day Display is a mod that displays an in-game sign and a chat message each day, which is a nice way to get to know the game better and get some help from other players. It can be configured to show either a message or an in-game sign. This extension is not a full-fledged game, but it does add some visual effects to the game and has a lot of options for displaying information.

Installation

First, install SMAPI. Next, download the Dish of the Day Display extension, and unzip it. Finally, create a new folder, and place the extension inside it. Now, you can enjoy the extension!

Configuration

The first thing you need to do is go to the config.json file. It contains a lot of options that you can change. The most important part of this file is the toggling of the type of display. There are two types of displays: chat messages and in-game signs. You can also change the location of the sign.
