All these features mentioned can be accessed in an easy-to-use, intuitive user interface that the app employs. Hazard icons are also color-coded accordingly to represent the severity of the hazard. In addition, the app has a theme that integrates the DisasterAWARE branding and colors, as well as a dark and light mode.

While the app's main purpose is to inform you of the latest weather hazards, its notification alerts aren't too detailed. The notifications the app will send you aren't informative enough and would require to be opened manually, which can be a hassle in times of emergency.
