Digital Praveshotsav is a free Indian app for streamlining door-to-door surveys for the country’s Praveshotsav campaign, an annual student enrollment initiative. With this tool, education stakeholders can easily gather data on student dropouts as well as unenrolled and education-deprived children, ensuring faster and hassle-free data analysis.

Document a student’s information

After entering your staff ID, contact number, and name, the Digital Praveshotsav app will take you to a page containing your personal information. Tap “Ok” if all details are correct. From there, you can now conduct household surveys and record all the necessary information that is asked in the app.

This includes a student’s house number, academic status, school, and social class, among others. Users can also download and sync survey data for whatever need, whether for backup or safekeeping. However, this app is limited to the Indian demographic, and therefore, has little benefit to foreign educators.
