Digbeat: Godot Deeper is a free arcade game for PC developed by Jertlemiah. It is a 2D rhythm-based adventure featuring minimalistic graphics wherein players will be tasked with digging into the ground and reaching as deep as they can. They will do so to the beat of equally simple yet fast-paced music.

Digbeat: Godot Deeper features minimalistic 1-bit graphics rendered in black and white. You must time your plows to the beat of music composed of minimal melodies and drum beats. You can move vertically, horizontally, and even diagonally, but you have to be wary of explosive traps along the way. 

Build up your As you progress, unlock new blocks that require different ways to excavate and play around with different color filters for a unique look. All that said, the gameplay is simplistic and short, which results in a dull and repetitive experience after a while. Local multiplayer is available to help keep things fun and engaging for longer. 

Fun yet forgettable 

Digbeat: Godot Deeper is a decent rhythm game with charming retro graphics. It's easy to get into and great for passing time. It's not a particularly complex game and is better played with friends. That said, it's completely free, so it's worth a try to see if you'll like it.
