Dig This 2 is a free puzzle game for mobile coming from developer VOODOO. It's the sequel to the popular casual title, Dig This, released by the same team of people. In it, players will guide a ball in the sand as it makes its way to the cup at the end of the trail.

Compared to the first Dig This game, Dig This 2 brings plenty of new things to the table, including improved graphics, more levels, and gameplay elements on top of the base experience. It still employs the simple and intuitive controls of its predecessor, too.

Hole in the sand

In Dig This 2, you will be tasked with guiding a ball toward a cup, but there's a twist. Everything is buried underneath the sand, and you will need to dig and create a path between them. To do this, you simply have to swipe and drag to start digging and creating a trail to follow across various sand-themed locations.

The surprises don't stop there, though, as the levels in this sequel are filled with traps and environmental elements, such as spikes and bodies of water, respectively. As such, you have to think ahead before digging a path as it might to these kinds of obstacles. You do get some help in the form of powerups that you unlock along the way.

Other new additions include levels with unique game mechanics like antigravity and some that feature breakable walls, both of which change your approach and how you deal with challenges. Now, as is the case with most free games, there are ads that will appear throughout as you play. However, they can be rather intrusive and can interrupt your gameplay in certain situations.

A good sequel

If you played the first Dig This game, had fun, and want more of the same, Dig This 2 is a good sequel that introduces some good additions. Aside from more levels and some updated graphics, it's still the same experience you know and like. The antigravity and breakable walls are a nice touch and help bring variety to the gameplay. Recommended.
