DID-SIOP is a browser add-on designed to implement the Self Issued OpenId Connect Provider (SIOP) for Decentralized Identities (DIDs). It enables the integration of Identity Wallets with Relying Parties that use OpenIDConnect Clients (OIDC Clients) in compliance with the SIOP specification. With DID-SIOP, users have full control over their authorization provider service, allowing them to take ownership of their identity and metadata.

By replacing Social Login Schemes with a software module that runs as a browser add-on, DID-SIOP ensures that identification and personal data remain under the full control of the data owner.
