Desktop Lighter is a software package that enables users to easily manipulate the brightness of their computer screen. This can be advantageous during low-light situations or when an extremely bright screen may disturb others. Basic Functions and Accessories

One of the main benefits of Desktop Lighter is that it is no longer necessary to access the control panel in order to manually adjust the brightness of a screen. An icon will be found within the toolbar at the bottom of the page. Clicking upon this image will open up a window that displays a slider bar. The user will simply move the bar to the left or the right in order to adjust the brightness of the monitor.

Other Applications

Desktop Lighter provides two additional options. It is possible preset this program to work in conjunction with a hotkey. The other possibility is to enlarge the entire window so that it is easier to read. It is assumed that this was created for those who are visually impaired. This bundle is freeware, so there is no charge for it to be downloaded and installed.
