On an online platform, we have the potential to make fair, more inclusive transactions. In this case, the potential to eliminate the need to see guests’ race, gender, or age. However, many platforms make the decision to require users to share personal information before transactions are confirmed. We decided that if we made the decision to make a marketplace more inclusive, we would make it a better marketplace.
