Dark Heritage: Guardians of Hope is a hidden objects game, developed by Artifex Mundi. As with many other games from the developer, it combines classic hidden objects scenes with mini-games and an engaging plot, and utilizes a point-and-click control method. In total, the game contains 37 locations, 14 hidden object scenes and more than 30 different mini-games. However, the overall presentation feels slightly dated and the picture has been stretched to give it a widescreen presentation. Nevertheless, Dark Heritage: Guardians of Hope's dark setting is a breath of fresh air and the game will appeal to fans of the genre, and those looking for puzzle-based gameplay.
