CTAS - Official Version is an iPhone application developed by Pacific Rim Nursing Consultants Inc. under the license of the Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS). It is an educational reference tool intended for use by nurses and physicians in emergency departments (ED) to prioritize patient care requirements, examine patient care processes, workload, and resource requirements relative to case mix and community needs.

The application is available in English or French, depending on the language set on your device. All the lists and modifier definitions are within the application, so no data connection is required. The proceeds from the sale of this app support future development of the CTAS and its educational materials.
