CRYKEN part 1 is a premium action game from developer Toyuro. It is a fantasy adventure that supports up to four players via split-screen multiplayer. They are tasked with collecting crystals in large 3D spaces with all kinds of danger and platforming challenges. They can work together or compete on who can collect everything first. 

Crystal rush 

In CRYKEN part 1, you and up three other players will delve into large 3D spaces to collect crystals scattered across the stage. There are 30 unique levels to face with unique layouts and environments, with dangerous monsters like giant spiders and platforming challenges to overcome. They can equip hammer or sword weapons to defeat enemies and overcome obstacles. 

There are also powerups that you can pick that grant special abilities to make collecting crystals faster. As for the gameplay itself, the experience feels a bit sluggish and imprecise. The same can be said for its graphics which are quite low-quality and lack polish. It could use more refinements for a more enjoyable time playing. 

Dull and lackluster 

Overall, CRYKEN part 1 is an okay game to try out for some quick local multiplayer gameplay with friends or family. Work together or compete to see who can collect all the crystals first. Don't expect too much, though, as it's a rather unpolished experience. If you're okay with that, give this one a shot. Otherwise, look somewhere else.
