Crowd of Fish.io is a free strategy game developed by Thang Phan. This mobile application is an entertaining and addicting io game with simple but challenging gameplay in which you control a fish and try to grow it by eating smaller fish.

Crowd of Fish.io’s main goal is to become the biggest fish by swallowing up as much smaller fish as possible. To succeed in this game, you must regularly upgrade your fish and increase its level to thrive in the unpredictable nature of oceans. The fluid movement and animation of the game make it a relaxing activity.

Strategized to become big fish in the ocean

In Crowd of Fish.io, you will begin by gathering small, homeless fish and turning them into members of your shoal. If you eat the other fish, your school will grow and become more powerful. However, no matter how powerful you are, there will be times when things go wrong. The ocean has many dangers, including bigger fishes, competitors, and the boss, who is more substantial and aggressive.

Further, you can crash your opponents using speed boosts and sneak attacks to surprise other players. Once you have defeated all other players in a match and won the game, you can unlock new species of fish that you can use in subsequent rounds. There are 43 different species that you can collect once they have been unlocked through the shop page.

The intricately detailed fish designs, realistic water movements, and ocean environment create an authentic underwater feel. The game's straightforward controls accommodate players of all skill levels. However, this game has a few issues. One of the most notable downsides is its frequency of ads. Some ads are so long that you must close them before finishing watching the video, and this forces you to restart the app.

It's worth a try

Crowd of Fish.io is a great modern take on classic io games. The ocean theme and the relative simplicity of gameplay make this game easy to pick up. However, the high frequency of ads may be too distracting for some. Overall, if you're looking for a fun, addicting game that's free and easy to play on your mobile device, check it out.
