Cribbage is a classic card game re-imagined for Windows. Staying true to the challenging legacy of the original game, this Windows version comes with four difficulty levels, manual and automatic card counting, and also muggins.

Strategy and Luck

Cribbage entails good amount of strategy; and making a move when it’s your turn is not necessarily easy always. Also, some amount of skill is required to learn the good and bad moves you can potentially make in the game. Like every other card game, there is a bit of luck involved here too. But that doesn’t mean you’d lose to any random player. If you’re more skilled and tactically sounder than your opponent, you’re likely to win 9 games out of 10. This is a type of game that you cannot learn or become better at with every game you play, unless and until the better player guides and shows you the tricks.

Multiple Levels

The game anticipates people to have varying skills at the game, and it therefore has quite a few modes to offer. As aforementioned, there are four difficulty levels: expert AI, hard, medium and easy (in decreasing levels of hardness). If you have not played this game before, you may learn some basics and start with the 'easy' level first. The more experienced and skilled players can try the other three modes. Expert AI mode is the most difficult level, and even expert players could be found gasping for air at this level.
