Copper Odyssey 2 is a Japanese role-playing game developed by CAM for PC gaming in which players assume the role of Celeste, an angel on a mission to bring back the lost colors of 30 paintings in the museum by touching them with her bare hands. 

Illustrated in the style somewhere between anime and comic books, Copper Odyssey 2 delivers gameplay that centers around exploration and fantasy. It features interactive fiction and an atmospheric setting, allowing players to be immersed fully in the game through character interactions and environmental storytelling. 

Play as Celeste the Angel 

Copper Odyssey 2 is the sequel to the game Copper Odyssey and the second installment in the series of the same name. Although the story of this game takes place in the same universe as the first one, this has an entirely different storyline and characters with no narrative connectivity from the previous work, making it ultimately a standalone title. 

In this installment, the story follows Celeste, Herman the Printmaking Angel’s younger sister, who just got a job in Nickel City. This job, however, is in a different field, separate from the print studio where her older brother works. At this job, she must go to a museum, restore the lost colors of the 30 blank paintings, and make friends along the way. 

Bringing back the canvasses’ once-colorful selves is not without obstacles. Enemies, who are personified works of art themselves, are out to capture Celeste and take her to Unicorn’s art studio. Fight against these enemy factions by utilizing the game’s JRPG combat system. Unfortunately, there have been reports from users experiencing no sound in the game, which can diminish the immersive experience.

Copper Odyssey 2 offers a captivating journey of exploration, fantasy, and interactive fiction. The unique blend of anime and comic-style visuals, with its rich atmospheric setting, creates an engaging world for players to explore. Despite some technical issues, such as sound problems, the game shines with its creative storyline and intriguing combat system. Fans of JRPGs and immersive storytelling can find much to enjoy in this standalone sequel.
