Cool Record Edit Pro is a full featured audio recording suite with a range of potential uses. The app allows users to select an audio input, set recording levels and quality to create a custom audio file. Some of the most useful applications are for YouTube videos, saving LPs and other musical hardware or for live transmission such as TV or radio. Some helpful extra features like noise reduction can help get the most out of older or decayed audio sources, all clearly labelled in a basic user interface. Cool Record Edit Pro does have the disadvantage of being slightly outdated, meaning that some newer audio file types and modern features are unavailable. This makes the app less useful for larger transfers, such as digitising an entire LP collection, but fine for smaller scale use. A complete lack of video support also mean YouTube videos are lost during transfer.
