Cook Serve Forever is a cooking simulation and part of the Cook, Serve, Delicious game series developed and published by Vertigo Gaming Inc. for PC. Here, players get plunged into a thoughtfully crafted world where they must serve the hungry masses by cooking a wide variety of delectable foods. 

Illustrated in hand-drawn 2D graphics, Cook Serve Forever offers a fun and wholesome experience with its narrative-based gameplay and cooking mechanics. It is a casual title that explores themes of science fiction, an apocalyptic future, and LGBTQ+, featuring a female protagonist. 

Chop, stir, and sauté 

In Cook Serve Forever, you step into the shoes of a food cart chef with the dream of becoming someone like Chef Rhubarb, also known as the Culinary Queen. Set in the solarpunk city of Helianthus, you embark on a food-related adventure with your life partner, Brie, across more than 50 locations, mastering over 400 recipes and cooking more than 80 foods. 

Traverse every corner of this vibrant world, from thriving marketplaces to energetic dance halls and sparkling festivities, to attain the culinary greatness that you’ve been looking for. Each of these locations and events features its own unique menu and cooking objectives, challenging you to master new flavors and techniques as you progress and unravel a deeply moving tale brimming with intrigue, romance, and drive. 

Although the gameplay is easy to pick up, the true challenge lies in mastering the title itself. The characters are brought to life by over 30 voice actors, and the experience is enhanced by a thematic soundtrack composed by the award-winning Jonathan Geer. However, many beloved mechanics from the CSD series have been simplified, resulting in a gameplay experience that feels quite different from its predecessors.
