ConnectWise Mobile is a free productivity mobile app that enables you to check business tasks easily and on the go. A product of ConnectWise, this mobile app features some of the tools ConnectWise Manage and other Connectwise software, allowing you to easily manage your work even when you’re away from your workstation. However, while it does boast of user-friendly, it’s not really up to par with the rest of its developer’s product line.

What is ConnectWise used for?

ConnectWise Manage is a Professional Services Automation (PSA) software that allows businesses to manage their IT services with ease. Whether it’s for dealing with sales and marketing or addressing customer queries, this business management solution is well-equipped with cool features to run and aid a tightly-unified team. You can’t always be at your PC to do these tasks on short notice, however, so this is where its mobile counterpart comes in.

ConnectWise Mobile is considered the mobile version of ConnectWise Manage. However, it isn’t full as it also has features you can find on other ConnectWise software. It can easily access contact information and search for items, like tickets, companies, and contacts. With it, you can check your agenda and create and see schedule entries, activities, projects, and service tickets assigned to you. This applies to time tracking, as well, and the app offers different timers.

Additionally, it can track expenses and tickets with images so you can easily submit them for approval. However, while the interface isn’t too complicated to navigate and immediately displays features you’ll need most frequently, the app’s performance itself is quite disappointing. For one, it’s not easy to edit tickets. It’s also missing some features from other ConnectWise software that is highly fundamental. Lastly, it’s prone to crashing—making most users prefer the website version.

Needs a lot of reworking

All in all, ConnectWise Mobile tries to be a convenient and handy platform for all, but it just ended up a bit too ambitious. It lacks fixes to several issues, like missing core features and constant interface instability. Moreover, it has the same offering as other ConnectWise software. If you have ConnectWise Manage, this mobile version is not worth using.
