Concordium Wallet is a browser extension wallet designed for the Concordium blockchain. This open-source, privacy-centric, public, and permissionless blockchain allows users to easily create and deploy a privacy-centric digital identity and manage accounts. With Concordium Wallet, users can enjoy cheap, easy, and secure crypto transactions.

The wallet offers a range of features to help users manage their identities and accounts. Users can create a digital identity (DID) through an independent identity provider and create accounts using their digital identity. They can also send and receive CCD (ConCorDium) tokens, both through regular and shielded transfers. Checking account balances, both public and private, is also possible with the wallet.

Concordium Wallet also supports fungible and non-fungible tokens. Users can add more tokens to their wallet, view the amount of tokens they own, and send and receive both types of tokens. Additionally, users can inspect tokens to see their metadata, including visual non-fungible tokens.

To ensure the security of identities and accounts, Concordium Wallet allows users to secure them with a 24-word secret recovery phrase. This provides an extra layer of protection against unauthorized access.

CCD is the native token of the Concordium blockchain. As the base unit for value transfer, CCD ensures a well-defined and publicly known amount of tokens in existence.

Concordium is a proof-of-stake, layer-1 blockchain with an Identity layer at the protocol level. It offers a unique approach to crypto transactions, smart contracts, token standardization, and node running. The project is backed by strong science teams and is developed by a non-profit Foundation based in Switzerland.
