Concentric Live Wallpaper, from JustNewDesigns, brings the Google Pixel Watch concentric clock face to Android home screens as a live wallpaper designed for visual clarity and timekeeping. The app renders animated rings for hours, minutes, and seconds while offering per-element color controls, layout presets, and custom backgrounds to tailor the look. It targets Android users who prefer a minimalist, time-focused home screen and those willing to tweak visual parameters for a precise result.

It reproduces a concentric watch dial as a native live wallpaper

The app renders the concentric rings natively using Jetpack Compose, so the clock draws as a system wallpaper rather than a floating widget. The live face tracks hours, minutes, and seconds in real time and includes an optional digital time overlay and date display, which keeps time visible without adding separate widgets to the desktop.

It gives granular control over appearance and layout

Customization extends to color, scale, and placement. Users can set accents, ticks, hands, and background colors, choose from Classic, Centered, Right Dock, and Fullscreen presets, and adjust size, position, and scale. The app also supports custom images with blur and dim controls and lets users save named presets for quick recall.

It balances animation smoothness against device energy use

Performance options are explicit and user-adjustable. Frame rate control lets users lower the refresh rate to reduce battery draw, while the Jetpack Compose render path improves animation fluidity on modern devices. The developer describes the app as optimized for current Android versions, which helps keep runtime impact predictable across recent hardware.

It configures quickly but rewards tinkering

Setup is straightforward yet customizable. Presets and a small set of core sliders let casual users apply an attractive layout quickly, while toggles forhour format, smooth or tick seconds, and saved presets let more exacting users refine behavior. The developer's background in personalization tools suggests a design aimed at repeatable workflows rather than one-off tweaks.

A focused choice for users who want a time-first home screen

Concentric Live Wallpaper suits Android users who want a restrained, time-focused background and who are comfortable adjusting visual parameters. The developer’s portfolio of over 60 personalization apps since 2017 indicates ongoing attention to this category. Users seeking a minimal, configurable clock as their primary wallpaper will find this app appropriate; those who prefer a hands-off static background may find the options more than they need.
