ComuniCare is a free Android app developed by Brabert Apps. It allows users to receive alerts and/or information from local administrations that use the SMSPA application from Sistemi Informativi, provided that they have registered for it. These messages can include civil protection alarms as well as other useful information that the municipality wants to send to its citizens. ComuniCare also enables citizens to send messages to the municipality.

Users can register for multiple municipalities of their interest, such as their place of residence, vacation, work, or joint housing.

The app utilizes the Google Cloud Messaging service, ensuring that messages are received even when the app is not active. ComuniCare will notify users of messages through notifications, and clicking on the notification will activate the app.

ComuniCare stores the last 20 messages received.

During registration, the municipality only records the data provided, which is limited to name, mobile phone number, and address within the municipality. Users may also provide a landline phone number and an email address if desired.

The app does not access or store any data beyond what is mentioned above.
