ComputoLab is a native macOS application (Apple Silicon and Intel) for construction cost estimating (computo metrico) and site accounting (contabilità lavori) under Italian public-works rules (. 36/2023). It is made for surveyors (geometri), engineers, architects, building firms and technical offices working on a Mac.

Cost estimating

Build the bill of quantities with measurements, price analyses, sub-totals and the economic framework (quadro economico). The official regional and ANAS price lists are included and kept up to date, and you can import your own price lists or create new items. Projects can be exported to PDF and exchanged with other programs through standard files.

Site accounting

The Pro plan adds the measurement book (libro delle misure), the accounting register (registro di contabilità), progress payment certificates (SAL), the final account and the usual annexes, produced in the layouts required by Italian regulations.

Offline and private

ComputoLab works entirely offline: projects stay on your Mac, no account is required to use the free version and nothing is uploaded. Updates are checked automatically and installed with one click.

What is free

The free version includes the complete cost estimating workflow with all price lists, without time limits. Site accounting and the advanced documents belong to the Pro plan, which can be activated from within the app.

Languages

The interface is available in Italian, English, French, German and Slovenian. A Windows version is also available.
