Command & Conquer: Rivals is a game that you play online with other people around the world. It plays like a board game in that you have to tactically move your pieces around the gaming map and set up your forces to thwart the oppressive progress of your enemy. For example, you may set up a small group of anti-aircraft trucks and tanks to guard and area, only to have them destroyed by long-range missiles that your online enemy posted. The fighting style is closer to the Civilization games than to C&C games, and the tactics are closer to chess than previous C&C games.
