Combat Mayhem is a free fighting experience for Roblox created by Senator Bunny. The game centers around PvP combat and is chaotic in its execution. Combat Mayhem was created in 2021 and has since gone on to amass over 4.0 million players in total. This is by far not the most popular game, but it does seem to have a fairly active player base.

Chaos

If you read the game’s description on Roblox, you’ll see that the creator warns you of random attacks, and that you should expect to get taken off of the virtual census at any time. This is made abundantly clear when you span in. 

While spawn kills are generally frowned upon in gamer culture, camping at spawn and killing any newcomers before they’ve had a chance to get to grips with the game seems to be how the majority of Combat Mayhem’s servers operate. Therefore, it’s important to familiarize yourself with the controls in the description beforehand so that you can go in all guns blazing. 

Magic and mayhem

Before you spawn in, you’ll be prompted to choose both a fighting style and a magical ability. The fighting styles are not really fighting styles at all - more weapons. For instance, you can choose to wield a katana, greatsword, or scythe, to name a few. You can then choose a magical ability activated in-game by hitting Z on your keyboard. 

The magical abilities you can choose from are fire, lightning, and psychic. No matter which ability you choose, you’ll still have a cool-down period that feels like forever, during which you’ll have to rely on melee attacks to keep adversaries at bay.

Lives up to its name

There are some combat games where you stand a chance as a new player, and then there is Combat Mayhem. You’ll notice that the first two or three individuals on each server’s leaderboard have 30-60 kills, and the rest of the leaderboard usually has 0-3 combined. This is because players seem to find a server, camp at spawn, and attack before you can get yourself situated. 

Other players are off in the distance trying not to get killed. Combat Mayhem is chaotic, intense and saturated with mayhem. If you can handle that, go ahead. If not, try one of the alternatives.
