The Civil Code of the French, Complete is the most complete French legal code, written in the Napoleonic language, and designed as a model for the national civil code of the French. It is a collection of more than 1,200 articles, divided into four books, and comprising more than 1,120 articles in total. It is the law of France and its territories, applicable in both civil and commercial matters.
