Chrodic is a Chrome Extension that provides a mouse over text translation functionality into your browser. It has its own dictionary as well as its own built-in text-to-speech function.

What is Chrodic?

You can search through the text of a webpage (also known as a "URL" or "web address") by simply pointing your mouse at it. You can also search for the translation of the word that you have highlighted. Chrodic allows you to do this in either English or Japanese (it's actually easy to switch between the two).

Translating English to Japanese

The Eijiro dictionary is imported into an IndexedDB. This makes the translation

extremely fast, and makes it also possible to run the dictionary offline.
