What is Chingari? 

Chingari is a short video sharing app that pays its content creators based on how viral their videos become. For every video you upload, you get points per view which can be exchanged for money. As India’s version of TikTok, the app can be translated into one of ten Indian dialects as well as English. The main page of Chingari displays three tabs: Videos, News, and Game Zone. 

The video feed takes inspiration from similar apps like Likee and VMate. You can swipe up or down to view videos, and click on the creator’s display picture to see their profile.
