Chicotaz is a simulation game that immerses players in the role of a capataz during the Semana Santa celebrations in Seville. Players must navigate through challenging streets while avoiding obstacles such as pedestrians, curbs, trees, and traffic signs. Each level presents a unique time limit that players must respect to progress successfully. As players advance through the game, they unlock new streets and increasingly complex processions, enhancing the gameplay experience.

The game features six distinct pasos inspired by actual brotherhoods from Seville's Semana Santa, each with unique visuals including different candelabras and colors of the parihuela. Additionally, there are ten different itineraries to explore, showcasing iconic locations like the cathedral and various entry and exit points. A tutorial is available to help new players familiarize themselves with the controls and objectives before starting the game.
