Chess by Tuning Studios is a free two-player title on Roblox that features minimalist visuals. You can check your invitations as well as all available players in the game. Unfortunately, it doesn’t feature a single-player mode for users who prefer engaging in a casual match against bots.

Battle or spectate players

Upon entering Chess, you will be greeted with four button options: Chess Simulator, Available Players, Invitations, and Current Games. The first three are self-explanatory, but Current Games allows you to spectate any ongoing match. While you can’t make moves, you can roam around the board and climb on chess pieces.

The game has no ranking system, allowing players to enjoy a friendly match against other users. Moreover, there’s nothing to spice up matches due to the title’s lack of additional game modes. You also can’t customize the color of the board or the chess pieces.

Not much to offer

If you want a simple, no-fuss game of chess with other people, then Tuning Studios’ Chess game is for you. Here, you can see which users are available for a match and spectate battling players. It’s important to remember, though, that the game can only be played by two people.
