Chennai Super Kings is India's official cricket team.

Chennai Super Kings have been established in Tamil Nadu (also known as Madras, in modern usage) in 1978 and are currently based in Chennai (formerly known as Madras), Tamil Nadu, India. They have played in international cricket tournaments and won multiple ICC World Cup finals. They have been the world's number 1 ranked cricket team for a number of times. The current team captain is Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the man who led them to their first Cricket World Cup final in 1992.

Chennai Super Kings is a part of the Big Bash League (BBL) which is currently one of the most popular and popular cricket tournaments in India. The BBL is also based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and played for the first time in November 2010.
