We monitor what news gets amplified on social media platforms and measure if there are systemic biases in the quality of information users receive on Facebook from news media among different socio-demographic groups.

To do so, we developed a monitoring tool that works silently in the background while you are browsing Facebook without any overhead to your browsing experience.

Our tool collects information about the posts that you receive on your timeline and helps you understand if there are biases in the quality of information you receive on Facebook.

The tool helps you find news media that is trustworthy, as well as those that are not, and it allows you to get insights about the amount of time you spend on each news media and even about the content you receive on your news media timeline.

We developed our tool with the support of several universities.
