ChatterBoards AAC is an easy-to-use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) aid designed for individuals of all ages who have speech or language difficulties. Developed in collaboration with Speech Therapists and end users, this app aims to provide a cost-effective solution that doesn't require expensive subscriptions.

With ChatterBoards, individuals with autism, aphasia, apraxia, stroke, Down syndrome, or any other disability that affects communication can easily express their needs. The app offers a range of features to support communication, including the ability to create and use vocabulary boards, basic phrase boards, and different profiles for multiple users.

The app supports up to 16x16 board dimensions and allows full customization of buttons, including text, color, image, and audio playback. Users can choose from over 3500 symbols provided by Mulberry Symbols and over 500 symbols designed by Freepik. Additionally, ChatterBoards supports text-to-speech synthesis in over 50 languages/dialects, with multiple male and female voices available for English.

Other notable features include the ability to copy and share boards, lock controls for parental control, and support for both iPhone and iPad.
