Users can also take advantage of real-time song selection services and time machine functions that allow them to listen to past broadcasts.

CBS Rainbow also offers a range of features, including live commenting, story sharing, and music requests. Users can record broadcasts, listen to podcast programs, and view program schedules. Additionally, users can set the starting channel, enable Wi-Fi connectivity, and use the app as a sleep or alarm function.

The app supports 13 local channels and offers optional access to storage space to enable recording and podcast downloads.
