Space challenge

With the interesting time travel concept elevating the simple puzzle system, Causality proves to be a challenging game requiring a different kind of thought. Puzzle grids start with astronauts in a period of emergency. Rewind or fast forward time, creating new versions of each astronaut to interact with each other, ultimately leading each to their designated exit point. While it may be tricky to describe in motion, the game has an immediacy that helps master the controls quickly. Causality has 60 levels each requiring a separate approach and a reward system for clever completions that will keep players busy for a long time thanks to the inherent difficultly. The graphics and sound are fine but not particularly impressive, which gives the challenges more clarity and space.

Solid puzzle challenge

Causality is a little gem. Puzzle fans looking for something outside the box will find a satisfying challenge and enough content to make the small price worthwhile. A lack of demo or trial versions mean that those not intrigued by the concept should probably look elsewhere.
