Cataclysm Wars features two tactical campaigns: one that follows the underdog Carcasier Militia across 10 missions of gritty defense and another that lets you command the powerful Syrinx Kingdom in a five-mission offensive. Narrative events and an in-game encyclopedia deepen the story and lore.

That said, the game's biggest drawback is its short length. With only 15 missions total, seasoned players may find the experience ends just as things start to get interesting. The linear campaign structure and limited faction variety might leave some craving for deeper replayability and immersion.
