Cartera Digital is a personalization app developed by the Ministerio de Asuntos Económicos y Transf. Digital for Android. This app lets you request identification credentials from Issuing Entities such as the electronic identification credential issued by FNMT-RCM or credentials of belonging to the educational community issued by Universities.

Once obtained, these credentials will only reside in your Cartera Digital: you will be the owner and decide with which entities you share them to access their digital services. This app lets you join the ecosystem of users, issuing entities, and entities that accept these credentials to allow access to a variety of digital services.

At present, this ecosystem is formed by a limited number of users who can acquire credentials for use in the university environment. As the ecosystem grows, informative campaigns will be carried out to allow adherence to other groups, depending on the digital services that admit this new means of electronic identification.
