The digital Work and Social Security Card (CTPS) is a document that records the worker’s professional life and guarantees access to the labor rights provided for by law. It is issued in two formats: physical and digital.

For most workers, the CTPS will be issued in digital format. This is the case for public servants, for example. However, for private sector workers, it is issued in physical format. In this case, the worker will receive a paper copy of the document and the social security number.
