The Chinese Popup Dictionary is a free, open source, browser-based tool that allows you to quickly look up Chinese vocabulary with a quick click on the browser's browser. The tool is based on a dictionary of Chinese characters, an encyclopedia of Chinese vocabulary, a romanization dictionary, and a pronunciation dictionary, all of which are freely accessible. There is a feature that allows the user to copy the content of the target word (from the character pop-up window) to the system clipboard. The user can then paste it to an e-mail, a chat, etc. It is also possible to use the dictionary as a browser extension for any web site (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc.).
