Call of Myth is an online collectible card game (CCG) that immerses players within a dark and disturbing environment inspired by H.P. Lovecraft himself. Users will have to collect and trade unique cards in order to gain powers and enhance their magical abilities.

Similar to other platforms, such as Magic Duels, Call of Myth involves a fair amount of strategy and foresight. Furthermore, players can choose to become defenders of humanity or the demons themselves.

Angel or demon?

Players have the ability to create their own narrative and to determine whether they wish to side with the forces of good or embrace the dark arts. Such decisions will thereafter impact the remainder of the gameplay.

The madness mechanic

Another unique feature associated with Call of Myth involves a specific trait known as madness. If the madness levels of a player fall to zero, he or she will go insane. While some hope to avoid such an outcome, others can use madness to their advantage.

Active and passive abilities

All characters are provided with active and passive abilities. These traits can be channeled in different ways (depending on the strategy that one chooses to adopt). Some can also be combined in order to create even more powerful skills when in online PvP mode.

An homage to Lovecraft

Just as the CCG game Hearthstone is based around World of Warcraft, Call of Myth focuses upon many of the mythical creatures created by H.P. Lovecraft. From Cthulhu and Shub-Niggurath to Hebert West, fans of this author should be pleased with what this game has to offer.
