Fans of the popular shooter game, Call of Duty, can now experience the game in an exotic location. Call of Duty Rio is a game utility that will take the game to Rio de Janeiro Brazil. This app is a mod to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It has the same COD gameplay but converted to the conflict in Rio between cops and drug dealers.

Movie-like game

If you like the movie Elite Squad, you will probably love the changes made to the game by this app. It has the same hardcore, intense, and even the violence that the movie showcases. As noted, it is a mod to the sixteenth installment of the COD franchise. It also drew inspiration from another COD mod, Frontlines Forever. Instead of CIA covert operations, players will delve into the world of drug dealers in Rio.

Everything in the game will feature the land of Rio. It will showcase a full match of Boca de Fumo game type, which is the version of the headquarters in the game. The original Modern Warfare map, Favela, is completely remodeled to look like Rio. Aside from the complete map change, there are also more features added. Players may see a full football match playing on TV, and loud music by Information Society may be played. To top it off, a huge storm could hit while you are in the middle of combat. Every additional element is randomly generated.

Call of Duty Rio is a total conversion mod created primarily for the Brazillian market. Everything will be in Portuguese with no option to change the language to English due to engine limits. However, with its intense—if not violent—first-person shooter action, this mod will please many players around the world.

Good game for the fans

Call of Duty Rio is an excellent mod to install if you want to experience COD action in a new location and intensity. It features a lot of familiar Rio locations and even adds in random activities people often do and experience in Rio. The language limitation may pose a difficulty for non-Portuguese speaking players, but other than that, this game promises hours of enjoyment.
