California Road Report is a free, convenient, and easy-to-use app for viewing California Department of Transportation (CalTrans) information. The app provides access to the most frequently requested CalTrans reports, including the most recent traffic accidents, and incidents involving vehicle or pedestrian violations.

CalTrans is the official authority that manages the state’s highway and traffic control systems. Its mission is to make the roadways safe, efficient, and reliable. CalTrans does this by maintaining a network of over 500,000 miles of road, and by performing more than 2 million traffic control events each year.

You can find information about all of CalTrans’s projects in the state on this app. You can view projects that are in the planning phase, as well as projects that are under construction, in the planning and construction phases, and are finished.
