Cахалыы is an interactive self-learning app for the Yakut language (also known as Sakha tyla). Designed for beginners, both adults and children aged 8 and above, this mobile application aims to preserve the language through technology. Developed in collaboration with practicing teachers, linguists, and parents, Cахалыы offers 9 sections and over 80 lessons, covering everything from the Yakut alphabet to conversational situations.

Each lesson consists of theory and practical exercises, followed by a comprehensive test to reinforce the material. Users can choose to progress in a linear fashion or take a test to unlock the next section. For every correct answer in the exercises, users are awarded 1-2 points. Incorrectly answered exercises can be revisited at the end of the lesson for further practice. Points can also be earned through quizzes.

Users have the option to compete with others or learn at their own pace. The user ranking system displays individual rankings and the points earned by the most active users. The app also allows users to expand their vocabulary by learning new words in the "Word Bank" after completing each lesson.

Cахалыы includes a built-in dictionary that enables users to search for any Russian or Yakut word. Additionally, the app provides grammar lessons from various sources for those who are particularly curious.

For those interested in participating, the app offers centralized olympiads held on specific dates. Participants receive a digital personalized certificate, while winners receive a physical diploma.
