You can also support your turrets by using your hero skills, which are all displayed in high-resolution visuals. This is paired with a great atmospheric soundtrack, too.

While most tower defense games are played from a top-view perspective, this one plays on an isometric third-person view. This adds immersion, but it also prevents players from seeing the entire stage at a glance. This could affect the players in managing turrets and resources. Additionally, the game has a steady difficulty progression and late-game levels that require specific setups to resolve.

Overall, Bug Heroes: Tower Defense is one of the better titles in the subgenre. It takes time to create different Heroes that add a strategic layer to the game, and the fact that it uses a 3D isometric view serves an aesthetic and technical purpose. In a way, it is a better-quality mobile game and is more challenging, for new players and TD fans alike.
