Also called Explore the Imaginary World, Bubble Rangers is a free-to-download adventure game that shares similar gameplay with Subway Surfers, Temple Run, and other endless runners. Produced by Imaginary Ones, this title utilizes finger swipes to control the movement of the titular Rangers, making it accessible for gamers of all skill levels. 

The main objective of Bubble Rangers is to achieve a high score, with the collectible skins and daily and seasonal quests serving as cherries on top to entertain players. While the map’s environment changes as you progress, the title’s linear gameplay is a recipe for boredom.

Complete quests and snag new skins

Bubble Rangers employ a stamina system, represented by a lightning bolt icon. To start running, players must spend five lightning bolts. Then, they will be taken to a map teeming with obstacles, Bubbles, candies, and powerups. Players can avoid, jump, or slide under obstacles, and hitting one will automatically end the game. Though optional, you can continue your run by watching an ad or spending purple gems.

The daily and seasonal quests are a mix of tasks that involve achieving a certain score, spending gems, watching advertisements, and the like. Completing daily quests rewards you with 1,000 Bubbles. Unfortunately, you’ll also receive 1,000 Bubbles for completing the seasonal quests. Ideally, the amount should be higher, or the reward should be changed to gems to justify the player’s effort in completing the tasks.

The Ranger skins are divided into four rarity tiers: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Most skins in the first three tiers are purchasable using Bubbles or gems, though some of them—including the featured seasonal Legendary skin—are in the Magic Wheel, the game’s gacha system. In addition to cosmetics, you can also obtain Bubbles, Invincibility Auras, and gems—all at varying probabilities.

A cute game to keep you preoccupied

Overall, Bubble Rangers is a cute runner game that anyone can pick up and play, all thanks to addictive gameplay and easy-to-learn controls. The daily and seasonal quests keep you busy, and completing them rewards you with virtual currencies. Plus, many of the Ranger skins are obtainable by grinding and spending Bubbles or gems. Unfortunately, the repetitive gameplay is one of the title’s drawbacks.
