BRU is a free utility tool for PC by an independent developer who goes by the name arcadesdude. This open-source program was created to help users remove any pre-installed factory software from their computers. It has been tested to work seamlessly on devices that run on Windows 7 up to 10.

Just like BCUninstaller or O&O AppBuster, BRU makes it easy for anyone to remove factory-installed bloatware on their newly purchased Windows PCs. This portable tool can also delete Windows 10 UWP apps, provisioned programs, and even those that were installed directly from the Windows Store.

It features a convenient "Toggle Suggested Bloatware" to help identify and remove offenders easier.

The great thing about this utility is that it's not limited to just bloatware as it can also handle the removal of UWP apps on Windows 10, OS-specific provisioned, and ones coming from the Windows Store. Now, if you're already on the Windows 11 operating system, this tool won't work just yet. The developer is still in the process of making it compatible with Microsoft's latest and greatest.
