Bridgefy offers you three ways to making it work—all of which require you to turn on your Bluetooth. The first is Person-to-Person Mode, which lets you chat privately with friends that are within 330 feet or 100 meters of you. Mesh Mode, on the other hand, is an extended version of Person-to-Person Mode and lets you go beyond the limit of 330 feet. By connecting to other Bridgefy users within your radius, your Bluetooth’s reach will go further, allowing you to chat with someone you couldn’t easily contact in Person-to-Person Mode. The people in the middle of your connection won’t see your private messages, so there’s no need to worry. The last method is Broadcast Mode, which lets you send messages simultaneously to every Bridgefy users around you even if they’re not your contacts—something very helpful when you need to spread some news quickly.

Don’t Rely On It Too Much

As a messaging app, Bridgefy works quite well and can be handy when you’ve lost your internet connection. However, it’s not fully reliable in its offline mode and you may have to restart the app or your Bluetooth to get it to work properly.
